Radon is a radioactive gas that is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and its presence is linked to several serious health conditions. The EPA recommends that all houses be tested for radon gas. Unless you test for it, there is no way to know how much is present. Upon request, we will test for Radon and generate a report with the findings. Before scheduling a test, we advise you to ask the previous owners if the home has been tested and if any remediation has been performed. Radon testing is a separate service from a general inspection.
While performing a routine inspection, if we detect signs that may indicate a mold problem then we may recommend mold testing. If you suspect your home may have a mold issue because of a musty/mildew-like odor or visual presence of a mold-like substance, you can request a mold test. Mold testing is a separate service from a standard inspection.
Thermal imaging is a way to determine areas in the home where insulation or weather-stripping may be missing, poorly installed or inadequate. It helps identify areas prone to condensation and drafts, and helps identify potential problems in walls, plumbing and electrical work that would otherwise go undetected. Upon request, we will produce thermal images of areas of concern and share the images in a report detailing their significance. Thermal imaging is a separate service from a general inspection.
When conditions are favorable, we use drones to inspect roofs, chimneys and exterior features that would be otherwise difficult or hazardous to inspect in a conventional manner. In addition, drone photography is also a way to generate high definition images or video of your home or estate from an aerial perspective. Our drone is equipped with a 4k ultra HD camera mounted on a 3 axis gimbal and has GPS as well as starlink stabilization to produce stunning images and videos. A fly over video of your estate, grounds or house could give your property the “wow” factor that sets it apart from the rest when it comes time to sell it.
